INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION! If you feel uncomfortable tingling heat or if the skin turns red, there is a risk of burns. Turn off the device immediately and stop using it. Read the safety information carefully before first use.
- Charging: The heated insoles and remote control can be charged wirelessly using the charging pads or via the USB-C ports. A full charge is indicated by a solid green light on the charger/insole (after 4-6 hours).
- Activate/Deactivate: Press the button on the side of the insole for 4 seconds until the LED light turns on/off.
Manual control via the insole button:
- Select Heat Mode: Briefly press the side button to switch between the heat levels.
- LED Indicator for Heat Level: The LED will show: red (high), yellow (medium) or green (low).
- Flashing LED: If the LED is flashing, the insole is in standby mode. The color indicates the battery level: red (0-33%), yellow (34-66%), green (67%-100%).
Remote control operation:
- Prerequisite: For remote control functionality, the insoles must be activated (in standby mode).
- Select Heat Mode: To choose your desired heat level, press button I (low), II (medium), or III (high).
- Battery Level Indicator: The pie charts on the remote show the battery level for each insole. More filled segments mean a higher battery charge.
- Heat Level Indicator: The color of the pie charts corresponds to the set heat level: red (high), yellow (medium), or green (low).
- Standby: Press the ON/OFF button on the remote control.
If the heated insole doesn’t respond to the remote control:
- Press the side button on the heated insole for 7 seconds until the LED light flashes rapidly.
- To pair the left insole, press the button I on the remote control. To pair the right insole, press the button III.
The steps above also apply if you’ve received a new remote control.
App Control:
- Download the “Bucken” app from Google Play or the Apple App Store
- Prerequisite: The insoles must be activated (in standby mode).
- The app requires the following permissions: Nearby Devices, Location, and Phone.
- Pair the insoles via Bluetooth by tapping the Bluetooth symbol in the app. After pairing, the insoles will enter standby mode.
- Select your desired temperature by tapping either I, II, or III.
- The insoles can be controlled individually or simultaneously by tapping the link symbol between them.
- The remaining battery level is displayed above each insole.
- To put the insoles in standby mode, tap the OFF symbol.
- You can disconnect the insoles by tapping the OFF symbol again.
Before First Use:
- Test the insoles: Place the insoles under a blanket (for about 10 minutes) to check if they get warm enough for your needs. Please note: the right of withdrawal does not apply to used or cut insoles.
- If possible, remove your existing insoles from your shoes.
- Cut the heated insoles to the correct size. Use your existing insole as a template. Cut carefully, not inside the innermost line (risk of damage).
- Insert the heated insoles into clean and dry shoes. Be careful not to bend the front part of the heated insoles too much, as this can damage the heating wires. The fit often improves after you’ve used the insoles for a while.
General Advice:
- Prevent cold: Activate the insoles before your feet get cold for the best effect and lower energy consumption.
- At very low temperatures, you might not feel the heat generated by the insoles, but your feet should also not be “bitterly” cold.
- Test if unsure: Activate only one insole and compare after 10-15 minutes.
- Avoid moisture: Sweat cools your feet.
- Problems with activation: May be due to moisture. Let the insoles dry.
- Storage: Store charged around 60% and turned off.
